Hard cheese, cooked and slow ageing, made from raw partially skimmed milk, registered as a Protected Designation of Origin under the REG. EC 510/2006.
The maturation of 24 months gives to Parmigiano Reggiano main features: friable aspect at the taste and view, the paste is finely nubby, the colour turns from white to slightly yellow. When tasting a piece of Parmigiano Reggiano, the taste evolves in a sweet and palatable balance, recalling a note of fresh milk, the softness of cream, butter and yogurt.
#Flavour: fragrant, delicate, tasty but not spicy.
