La Credenza was founded in 2001 by a young Italian man migrated to London who wanted to bring the artisan cheeses and salamis of his childhood with him.
Driven by the sheer determination and genuine passion of our founder, La Credenza moved steadily, with constant double-digit growth, from a one-man-with-a-van business to a structured company with a state-of-the-art warehouse and fleet and noteworthy customers.
Year after year, our constant focus has been sourcing products coming from Italian traditions and evoking customs from old times; selecting artisan producers and family businesses with whom fruitful and solid relationships were established; valuing each customer who joined us along the way, and pleasingly very few left.
The recent opening of our Italian Sourcing Office is a further signal of the strategic role of product selection in our company business and an even tighter link with Italian territory.
As our customers already know, La Credenza chose not to develop a traditional sales force; we believe the products will tell you their stories. If you can hear them, we simply source them and take them to your door.
During all these years, beyond double-digit growth and business strategies, above fashion and culinary trends, what has driven it all is that we remained true to our vision: constant passion for timeless good artisan food
